You probably heard the saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, as it is the time when we need to refuel our bodies after hours of sleep. I wanted to provide a few ideas for a healthy and delicious breakfast, something we can all look forward to when we wake up in the morning.
Option 1 - Fresh fruit and peanut butter with coffee.
Here I have about half a papaya that was cut up into little square with a few spoons of organic peanut butter. Just try to make sure your peanut butter does not have any added sugar, as the natural sugar in fresh fruit is all you need.
Option 2 - Green smoothie with chia seed.
To prepare this smoothie, blend any fruit and berries you would like (I am using a banana, frozen blueberries, spirulina, maca and noni powers) and separately prepare the chia pudding by soaking two tablespoons of chia seeds in a little bit of almond milk (leave for an hour or so).
Option 3 - Oatmeal with dried fruit and nuts.
I like to add a ton of things to my oatmeal to make it healthy and filling. Here I have about half a cut of rolled oats mixed with raisins, nuts, blueberries and little cinnamon. And of course a fresh cut of coffee.
